A miracle of multiplication

God has called me to teach His word in 1994. There was a prophecy while I studied at the Bible Institute, addressed to me personally, and it was one of the most dramatic experiences of my life. I did not choose this calling, because a calling is not chosen but accepted. To find your calling, you need to fing the one who is calling you. What could be more natural than finding your calling while studying? The fact that God chose me, does not flatter my vanity at all, because the interpretation of the Bible (and this is the essence of theology) is not only joyful and exciting, but also infinitely responsible task. That's why I'm so confident that I was called by God to do this – I would never choose this on my own initiative. So, the Lord called me – and I agreed at once, thanks to the power of His grace only. I was filled with such fear and joy that now, 21 years later, I am still under its influence. Here it is necessary to clarify that I see God’s calling not as an invitation to cooperate, but as an order, as a commandment. Unfortunately, I am not always able to make the right choices, that’s why I so appreciate God's command. Haven’t we trusted Him with our lives completely on the day of baptism? I am excited about the way he ordered my life, I brings me unspeakable joy. Having called me, God once pointed out to me the field of application, so I not only believe in the critical importance of biblical education, but am constantly involved in it.

The main field of my joyful service to the Lord is our dear Vision University, where I found wonderful friends and co-laborers not only among fellow teachers, but also among the hundreds of students. Among the many testimonies of the grace of God through teaching, I would like to highlight one thing – it is a constant multiplication of the students. If you do not take into account the temporary reduction in admissions in the last two years due to a number of known causes, related to the war and the economic crisis, we see how God adds more people with each new year. I do not believe that people go to study exclusively on their own initiative. If the Holy Spirit did not call them, they would not have gone. Recent new branches that we opened in new cities, have consistently demonstrated a certain phenomenon of the action of grace. After the first day of class, students begin to advertise the studies to their friends and on the next morning or on the day after tomorrow at most we see the number of people wishing to study increased by 20–30%. This is my testimony, which is worth paying attention to. The thirst for the Word of God is still there among older members of the church as well as among the new converts. All of them talk about an “appetite that came during the meal." Therefore, our task is to give them the freshest and most delicious food on time, as the Lord has commanded us!
