2019-2020 Newsletter

We are very thankful for your support and partnership. We are in the process of finishing the move of MTEE to Georgia and are training people to do the work that was done in Richmond. It is taking some time to transfer everything from one place to the other. Our website will be updated at the end of February.

MTEE is still doing the ministry as before:

1. We are training leaders in Eastern Europe

This year, in spite of the pandemic, classes were taught by the participating churches in Ukraine. Each month, we have 27 classes going on across Ukraine with 655 students. All the students serve in their churches and have different ministries in leadership.

In 2019-2020, we had 167 leaders who graduated in the Bachelor of Ministry program.

We have 17 students who are studying in the Counseling ministry.

2. In August and September of 2020, we had the first "School of the 70" discipleship training school

It was created and overseen by John Daigle, assisted by the pastor of our base church (in Legnica, Poland), as well as by several others who also served as instructors. It was a 6-week, on-site school held at Elim Center (about 1 hour from Legnica). Students came from Poland, and one came from Switzerland. The youngest was 22, and the oldest was a 70-year-old woman who speaks 7 languages. Our instructors were from Poland, Austria/Brazil, and America. The summary statement of, literally, every student was this: "My life has been turned upside down!"

3. We have a missionary in Moldova

We have a missionary in Moldova, Paul Lindstedt, who (along with his wife Galina) pastors an English-speaking church (International Christian Fellowship) and also equips leaders in local churches.

4. Right now, we are working on a program for teaching English using the Bible

The goal of this evangelistic program is to help churches bring more people to Christ. This program will use basic Bible stories as the curriculum. We will create 4 books: grammar, pronunciation, reading/writing, and speaking/listening. If you have people in your church who can be a part of the development process, we would love to have them on our team.

5. Scholarship program which helps people in full-time ministry to attend Bible school classes

Also, we started a scholarship program which helps people in full-time ministry to attend Bible school classes. Because Covid has had a major impact in Eastern Europe, many have lost their jobs. We want to provide 50% support, as of now, for 3 people.

6. We have a pastor's family in our network who has 6 kids, one of which is disabled

The husband and wife have not been away together for years because they focused more on their children rather than themselves. As a result of that, their relationship became difficult, and Covid made it worse. Our ministry decided to help this pastor and his wife by sending them to a pastors’ retreat (where they are now). They have not been alone with just each other for 10 years until now!
